TET stands for Teacher Eligibility Test, which is a qualifying exam for candidates who wish to become teachers in government schools in India. TET2 is the second level of the Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in the state of Gujarat.

To be eligible to appear for TET2 in Gujarat, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). The exam is conducted by the Gujarat State Examination Board (GSEB) and consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. The exam is conducted in multiple choice question (MCQ) format and covers topics such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
